While on Facebook today, I came across the question of whether or not someone should charge fees for readings. I started to leave my two cents worth when the following information came through. I ended up reaching for my journal to write what came through and went back to leave my personal comment after capturing this download. It’s a mix of what I started to write and what came through, and I’m sure you will be able to tell when it started to flow.
I tend to read comments when I see things like this, but today I’m avoiding that and sharing how I’ve evolved in my views on this. I can not and will not speak to the motivations and views of others. I will say that I used to disagree with the rates that others charge. In my humble opinion, readings are a form of healing. If you choose to agree with this or not, it does not matter to me.
I’m open to opinions on this as we all have our views, none more valid than the other as it’s all a matter of perspective. I do not believe it is wrong to charge for readings, healing treatments, or services etc. Cayce had his reason, and they were valid for him. Life here has its challenge, and we are all born with gifts and tools needed to exist while we’re here. We are born with these gifts/tools to contribute to society while we are here. We dismiss ourselves and what we have to offer if our gifts don’t match our idea of a gift based on comparison and our limited views of what a gift is and how it contributes to our life and the needs of others. We do not question paying for sports or musical events, to get our hair or nails done, or pay for medication, medical treatments, food, etc. This list can go on and on, but my point is that we all have gifts that are needed while we’re here. I’m sure plenty of people have their opinion on how society, etc. should run, but for now, depending upon what country you’re in, life and the ability to survive runs on the system in place.
While we are ALL born with spiritual gifts, some are born with those gifts in a more developed manner, and they are more evident and more naturally accessible, while others may need further growth and development of theirs. Unfortunately, we separate energy of the universe into compartments such as ESP, telepathy, healing, and any of the clairs, etc. Just as we all have these, they present in varying ways and degrees. We’ve separated ourselves from these just as we separate ourselves from one another and the One. I should take a moment to insert that when I use any word such as the Universe, One, God, or guides, they’re really all the same and an attempt to address in a manner familiar to you and in a way that is most comfortable to your belief system. Simply insert what label you wish to use for your comfort and convenience.
It’s time to address these “gifts” as they are all the same; they simply manifest differently. When I say they are all the same, I mean they’re all the same energy. Depending on your beliefs and understanding of those beliefs, just as one separates the different deities, angels, and other labeled forms of energy, etc., human abilities are separated. Gifts are all honed and perfected through repeated use, such as repeated use through lifetimes, or as you have labeled it, reincarnation.
I feel the ego attempting to interject with a rabbit hole of examples here. This one is gifted in the art of detail and metaphors, and we laugh at the perfection in this attempt to speak to you in a childlike manner. She is gifted in bringing down the information mentally or through imagery to the energetics of the human level. I see she is now learning to converse with us in a manner that takes information as it is being channeled (your label) and simplifying it to your understanding. This is a perfect example of growth. She’s learning to listen and pay attention to our information and recognizing where and how to alter it for you. This is turning out to be a conversation between us but interferes with answering your question at hand. For now, she understands that it would be best to state what is being transmitted, then clarifying or answering your questions with her gifts.
Back to the question
This one at one point in time had an aversion to as you put it, “charging for readings” but we wish to address charging for anything at all because many are finally relying on the energy to support life on earth. Supporting earthly needs through sharing energy skills would be ideal, but due to the development of financial needs to pay for services, this avenue is applicable to supporting life during incarnations. A time may come when money is no longer applicable, and skills are used for life participation, such as what you’ve labeled as Utopia. Many do not believe a society similar to Utopia can exist, but when humans open energetically, their views and understanding will change drastically, and Love will predominate all thought and action. When coming from a place of Love, attitude and understanding changes from, for example, what is in it for me and my survival, to how can I contribute? When all contribute to the betterment of All, all needs are met without worry for lack.
At this time, lack=need=individuality=separateness and so on.
Humanity has a long way to reach this as before this can be realized, acceptance must be attained. Culmination of wholeness is the acceptance of difference. Wholeness is Love. Separation is incompletion, which is the sense of lacking, the sense of hunger, and hunger from the separation of the whole, which is Love. For those who don’t believe they are intuitive, they are inherently sensing that Love to which they know is there. It’s the mind, the ego on earth, which convinces them they’re an individual and individuality spells separateness. Separateness is the illusion to provide individual free will. Free will is the key to experience and learning from one another. Learning provides the backdrop to what is needed to realize the truth of who you are and from whence you came. Free will provides you with choice to be Love based on experiences of the opposite through earlier choices from the freedom to choose.
There is no wrong. There is learning. Learning to trust oneself and your gifts and using them to provide a means to support what is needed in life. I would not be the messenger I am if I did not end this with, the choice in how to use your gifts and how to use them to support your life is yours to experience growth and a means to actualize LOVE and who you really are beyond your human form. How you choose to “charge” is part of your growth in many areas, one being self-worth. As always, there will be those that choose to charge higher than others, albeit whether it’s due to their financial needs or greed, which is still an avenue for education.
